Types of NFC eAuthentication Services

Services offered include . . .
NFC’s eAuthentication offers enterprise certificates which include all services shown below at the Basic and Medium levels of assurance. Certificates at the High level of assurance will be available once a customer has initiated interest and the remaining preparation steps at NFC have been taken.

Digital Signatures and Encryption for Web Applications	Zero footprint certificates for providing digital signatures and encryption for Web applications including electronic forms	Requires no client installation of software. Provides verification that data has not been altered; audit trail for transactions; strong identification of users; data privacy and confidentiality.
Digital Signatures and Encryption for Non-Web Applications	Digital signatures and encryption for non-Web applications including electronic forms (e.g., PDF)	Verification that data has not been altered; audit trail for transactions; strong identification of users; data privacy and confidentiality.
Virtual Private Networks (VPN’s)	Authentication and data security for VPNs	Strong authentication of users and data privacy and confidentiality.
Desktop Security	Desktop file and folder encryption; digital signatures	Confidentiality of data; verification that data has not been altered.
