is guidance from the United States Office of Special
Counsel (OSC) concerning candidates' visits to
Federal facilities. The advice is particularly
appropriate this political season. OSC wants to
ensure that candidates who visit Federal facilities
"to conduct official business do not engage
in any political campaign or election activity
during the visit."
